KUCHING: Landas Azam Kasihnya Warisan 3 powered to victory in the Men’s 30 Paddlers ‘Raja Sungai Piala TYT’ (Local Category) at the Sarawak Regatta 2025.
The champions took home the RM30,000 prize after clocking 7 minutes 13.63 seconds from Lane 8 in the event’s highlight race.
In second place was Bintulu Development Authority (BDA)-10, who earned RM20,000 with a time of 7:17.90 from Lane 7, while Bedilku Seri Putih (Adidas) finished third in 7:18.66 from Lane 3, collecting RM10,000.
Meanwhile, in the Men’s 30 Paddlers ‘Piala Antarabangsa Borneo’ (Open Category) final, Landas 5 continued their dominance by emerging champion from Lane 3 with a winning time of 6:48.92, securing RM20,000 in prize money.

Fellow teammates, Landas 1, took second place from Lane 4 in 6:50.34, earning RM15,000, while Sinaran EF Adison Sambas finished third in 6:51.02 from Lane 2 to receive RM10,000.
Both races covered a distance of 1.8 kilometres, showcasing fierce competition and outstanding teamwork on the Sarawak River.
The results brought the Sarawak Regatta 2025 to a thrilling close at the Kuching Waterfront, where the annual event ran from October 31 to November 2.
