SIBU: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian continued his Chinese New Year visit to Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) leaders and associations here yesterday (Feb 8).
Dr Sim, together with his wife, Datin Amar Enn Ong, was joined by Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Datuk Micheal Tiang Ming Tee and Bukit Assek assemblyman Joseph Chieng Jin Ek.
The SUPP president began his visits at the residence of Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability and Sarikei MP, Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, located at Jalan Deshon.
The entourage then performed prayers at Foo Hwang San Ur Par Wang Kong Temple before visiting the Hing Hua Pou Sen Sibu Association in Jalan Wong Nai Siong.
Dr Sim and his entourage then proceeded to Penghulu Lau Hieng Wuong’s residence in Lorong 9, Jalan Kapor, before concluding their Chinese New Year visit at Senator Robert Lau’s residence in Jalan Kong Yit Khim.
Also present were SUPP Bawang Assan chairman Councillor Kevin Lau, and Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) chairman and SUPP Pelawan chairman Clarence Ting Ing Horh.
