KUCHING: In keeping with a cherished family tradition, Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian is once again offering personally signed Hari Gawai 2025 greeting cards to members of the public.

In his official Facebook post, Dr Sim invited anyone who is interested to submit their details via an online form before 15 May through https://forms.gle/vxPK4DCR6ihEUQfa9.

“This long standing practice of hand-signing festive cards began with my late father, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Sim Kheng Hong, who would use a fountain pen while I assisted with a roller blotter to prevent ink smudges. It is indeed a meaningful father-and-son bonding experience.

“Today, I continue this tradition using a rollerball pen. It takes more time, but I strongly believe in the family value of signing each card with sincerity and good wishes,” he shared.

Earlier this year, he signed cards for Chinese New Year (Year of the Snake) and Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2025.

Now, the Hari Gawai edition is next in line as the festive season approaches.
