KUCHING: The spirit of unity, shared values, mutual support, and respect is what defines Sarawak, says Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian.
“As we prepare to come together to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, the entire Sarawak will once again share in the joy with our Muslim friends, just as we always have.
“The tradition of open houses remains an important symbol of our togetherness,” Dr Sim said in his festive Raya video message posted on his Facebook today (March 30).

He further expressed hope that this Raya would mark the continued journey of harmony, stability, and happiness for all the people of Sarawak.
Dr Sim also reinforced the importance of collective progress towards the state’s vision, referring to the Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.
“May this Raya be a celebration of our ongoing commitment to building a strong Sarawak nation, where every ‘anak Sarawak’ contributes to the growth and prosperity of our community, no matter where they are,” added Dr Sim.
