SERIAN: A local man was pronounced dead after losing control of his car and crashing into another vehicle along KM7, Jalan Serian-Kuching yesterday (May 28).
Serian police chief Supt Freddy Bian Stantislaus Bian when contacted, said the accident occurred at around 1.20 pm, involving a Honda Jazz and a Perodua Myvi.
“Investigations found that the Jazz veered out of control and crashed into a parked Myvi.
“The driver, a 38-year-old man, was confirmed dead at the scene by paramedics,” he said.
The victim’s body has been taken to Serian Hospital for a post-mortem.
Police are still investigating the case and have urged those with information to come forward to assist.
Meanwhile, a 11-second video clip on social media showed the Jazz moving slowly against oncoming traffic before crashing into the Myvi.
