BINTULU: The driver of a concrete truck was fortunate to escape serious harm after the vehicle turned turtle.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a call at around 8.57pm, Thursday (Nov 24).
Firefighters rushed to the location, which was a road heading towards the Sebauh ferry point.
“The team leader reported that the concrete truck was found upside down in a ditch by the side of the road.
“The driver was trapped inside. He was then extricated from the vehicle using special equipment,” said Bomba.
The victim, aged 40, sustained only minor injuries and was treated by medical personnel at the scene.
