MIRI: A man was injured after the car he was driving crashed into a lamp post and overturned at Jalan Riam here early yesterday.
In the incident that occurred around 3.00am, the man was believed to have lost control of the wheel while negotiating a bend.
A police team from the Mobile Patrol Vehicle (MPV) unit who was patrolling along the road at the time of the incident came to the man’s aid after seeing the latter’s car at the roadside.
The man who sustained head and bodily injuries was sent to Miri Hospital for treatment.
