SONG: Drivers are urged to steer clear of the Jalan Musah bridge facing the Japok Longhouse, which has been in a state of collapse since yesterday night.
According to reports from the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (APM), they were alerted by a call from the public about the incident at approximately 10.15 pm, leading to the dispatch of a response team to the location.
Upon arrival at the scene, it was confirmed that the lower structure of the bridge had collapsed, likely due to heavy rain from the evening until night.
Based on information provided by the caller, the police have already cordoned off the route from public access and are awaiting further action.
