BAU: A late-night police roadblock along Jalan Suba Buan led to the arrest of two men for drug abuse, one of whom was found in possession of suspected syabu.
The district police headquarters (IPD) and Narcotics Crime Investigation Division (NCID) carried out ‘Ops Bersepadu’ and ‘Ops Tapis’ from 10 pm last night (Dec 6) until midnight.

“During the search, one of them was found with two small plastic packets containing suspected syabu, weighing 3.72g. He was arrested under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 for drug possession.
“Both suspects also tested positive during preliminary urine screening and were detained under Section 15(1)(a) of the same Act,” he said.
He warned that police will take strict action against anyone involved in drug abuse.
