LIMBANG: Two local men were arrested by police after they were caught gambling using tablets last Sunday afternoon.
Limbang Police chief, Supt Mohd Bukhori Saffai said both suspects were detained during a raid on a premises at Jalan Tarap here at 5.18pm.
“Besides the arrests, we (police) have also seized RM120 in cash, eight tablets, one unit of CPU, nine units of mouse, a keyboard and two screen monitors,” he said, adding that the raid was carried out by a police team from the district’s Criminal Investigation Department.
Mohd Bukhori said the case would be investigated under Section 4B(b) of the Open Gaming House Act, 1953.
