KUCHING: The public can now get early bird tickets for ‘Konsert Fenomena Samurai’, which will feature two legendary Malaysian rock bands, Search and XPDC.
The concert is scheduled to take place at Sarawak Stadium here on December 13, with early bird ticket prices starting at RM90 (Bronze), RM104 (Free Standing), RM160 (Silver), RM188 (Mosh), and RM250 (VIP).
Regular ticket prices are RM129 (Bronze), RM149 (Free Standing), RM229 (Silver), RM269 (Mosh), and RM359 (VIP) until the day of the concert.
According to co-organisers, Seri Simfoni Sdn Bhd and Bintang Batu Event, the concert has been carefully planned to ensure that the uniting of the two legendary bands is delivered with the highest quality.
“‘Konsert Fenomena Samurai’ has its own standards, in terms of music selection, sound quality, and performance,” said producer from Seri Simfoni and Bintang Batu Event, Ikhram Zainuddin.
He said the organisers did not want the credibility of these two major bands to be taken lightly by staging just an ordinary concert.
Search will perform with its lineup led by Din and Kid, while XPDC will be fronted by Izo, Lola, Eddie, Arif and Mamu.
The presence of both bands on one stage is described as an epic moment long-awaited by local rock fans.
Search’s vocalist, Din, described the concert not only as a nostalgic experience but also as an appreciation for fans that have never stopped supporting the journey of Search and XPDC.
“This concert is not just about listening to the songs of Search and XPDC. It is a reunion with the love and struggle we have shared with our fans,” he said.
The concert also receives support from several strategic partners, including the Sarawak Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, as well as private companies and local sponsors.
