MUKAH: Early preparation and a systematic study strategy are the keys to success in examinations, said Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine.
He said that the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) and Malaysian Certificate of Higher Education (STPM) examinations are a big challenge for students.
“Therefore, students need to plan, their study schedules carefully and check the examination schedule.
“The examination date and time must be taken seriously because it will help them plan their study time more effectively.
“Next, make a study schedule by arranging the schedule and giving priority to subjects that are more difficult or require more revision,” he said.
He said this when speaking at the Surah Yasin and Solat Hajat Recitation Ceremony for SPM and STPM 2024 candidates from Mukah District secondary schools, at the Setia Raja Mosque, here, today.
In this regard, Royston also advised SPM and STPM candidates to take care of their health by eating a balanced diet and getting enough sleep.
He explained that personal health must be taken care of so that they always give their best when sitting for the upcoming examinations.
Meanwhile, he also presented Food Assistance Funds to candidates involved under the Fifty7Spoon programme organised by the Mukah Education Bureau in collaboration with the Federation of Melanau Association Sarawak (PPMS).
The schools involved were Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Three Rivers, SMK Mukah and SMK ST Patrick.
