LUNDU: The completion of the project for the upgrading of the cemetery road in Kampung Sungai Cina here marks a significant milestone.
Minister of Women, Family and Community Development Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said this vital initiative addressed the longstanding issue of the unpaved road.
She added that the road had posed considerable challenges for burial arrangements.
“With the project’s successful conclusion, the road now offers improved accessibility, aiming to alleviate the difficulties faced by families visiting their relatives’ graves,” she said after visiting the site yesterday (Apr 22).
Also present were Lundu District Office representative Muhd Shafiee Ahmad, head of Kg Sungai Cina Habibu Mahmud and Tanjong Datu service centre representative Khairul.
