KUCHING: The Election Commission (EC) is set to announce the key dates for the 13th Sarawak General Election following a special meeting here tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 6).
In a media advisory issued today (Nov. 5), the EC said a press conference would be held following the meeting to announce important dates relating to the conduct of the state’s election.
The press conference is scheduled to take place at 10:30 am at the Hilton Kuching, with media representatives invited to attend from 10:00 am.
The announcement is expected to include the dates for nomination, early voting and polling.
The special meeting follows the dissolution of the Sarawak State Legislative Assembly on October 23, paving the way for the state’s election.
The upcoming polls will see voters elect representatives to the 82-seat State Legislative Assembly.
