SRI AMAN: A delegation from the Sarawak State Education Department (JPNS) paid their final respects to the late Andy Roy Junran, headmaster of SK Sbangki, Lubok Antu and the late Angelin Kibin, a nurse at Sri Aman Hospital, in a ceremony marked by solemnity and heartfelt remembrance.
According to JPNS Facebook page, the delegation on Saturday was led by its director Omar Mahli, who represented the entire state education fraternity in offering condolences and moral support to the families of both individuals.
Also present were representatives from the Lubok Antu District Education Office, the Sri Aman District Education Office, and the Malaysian Headmasters Council, Sarawak Branch (Lubok Antu).
Omar expressed his deepest gratitude for the service and contributions of the late Cikgu Andy Roy, who had devoted himself wholeheartedly to leading SK Sbangki and championing educational excellence in the interior region.
He also described the passing of the late headmaster as a great loss to the education community in Sarawak.
“The Sarawak education community is deeply saddened by the loss of a school leader who was full of integrity, dedication and unwavering commitment to the welfare of pupils and teachers. His service will always be remembered,” he said.
He also conveyed condolences to the family of the late Angelin, who had served with great commitment as a nurse at Sri Aman Hospital, tirelessly contributing her service to the community.
The final respect ceremony was conducted with solemnity, accompanied by prayers and words of encouragement to the families, wishing them strength in facing the loss of their loved ones.
Omar also conveyed condolences from the Minister of Education Malaysia, and presented a heartfelt contribution from the education community to the families of the deceased.
The Sarawak education fraternity prays that the souls of both individuals will be blessed, placed among the righteous and that their families be granted strength and resilience.
