PADAWAN: An elderly man was killed in a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Mambong-Seratau last night (Aug 4).
The accident, which occurred at around 9.10 pm, involved a motrocycle and a pick-up truck.
The 57-year-old victim, who was riding the motorcycle alone, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
His body was transported to the hospital for further action.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old driver escaped unscathed in the accident.
Padawan police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi confirmed the case when contacted.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
