MIRI: An elderly woman was found lifeless outside the Bei Building in Krokop, believed to have fallen from the fourth floor of the structure.
The body of the 69-year-old woman, dressed in fully red attire, was discovered by members of the public.
Emergency services responded promptly, with a team from the Miri Sentral Fire and Rescue Station arriving on the scene after receiving a call at 8.29 am.
Medical personnel from Miri Hospital pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Authorities have handed over the body to the police for further investigation.
Sources indicate that a two-page letter written in Chinese was found at the scene.
The body has been transported to Miri Hospital morgue.
