MALAYSIAN singer and actress Elizabeth Tan was recently brought to tears after discovering a heartfelt act of kindness from an unexpected source — a stranger praying for her at a mosque.

The emotional moment came to light when a netizen shared a touching anecdote on social media, recounting how he had overheard a man beside him at a mosque in Putrajaya offering a quiet prayer. To his surprise, the prayer wasn’t for himself or his loved ones, but for Elizabeth — specifically, that she would be blessed with a child.

“What moved me was how sincere he sounded,” wrote the netizen. “Even though they come from different religions, he was genuinely asking for blessings for her. Elizabeth Tan, you’re lucky — someone out there is truly praying for you.”

The revelation struck a deep chord with the 30-year-old singer. Reposting the message on her own Instagram, Elizabeth responded with gratitude and emotion: “This made me cry. Thank you for telling me. I appreciate this so much and yes, I’m so lucky. I feel so loved.”

Elizabeth married her husband, Dr Siew Jim, in a private ceremony in 2021. Since then, she has shared glimpses of her personal journey, including the heartbreak of suffering two miscarriages. In past interviews, she spoke candidly about her struggles with pregnancy, often leaning on faith, family, and fans for strength.

This recent gesture — a silent, anonymous prayer — served as a powerful reminder that love and compassion often transcend boundaries of faith, race, or familiarity.

Fans flooded her comment section with messages of support, calling the moment “beautiful,” “pure,” and a testament to the power of human kindness.
