SELANGOR: They climbed high and finished even higher as Elvis Priestly Clement and Jared Aiden Harold delivered a composed display to capture gold in the Men’s Open Platform Synchro Finals at SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026 today.
The Sarawak duo topped the standings with 330.51 points after six dives at Darul Ehsan Aquatic Centre, finishing 25.23 points clear of Selangor, who settled for silver with 305.28 points.
Sabah completed the podium with 288.78 points to take bronze.
Elvis and Jared made a strong start, collecting 46.20 points in their opening dive before adding 40.80 points in the second round for a total of 87.00 points.
They stepped up their performance in the third round, scoring 56.70 points before producing an impressive 67.20 points in the fourth to strengthen their grip on the top spot.
The Sarawak pair continued to build their advantage despite a quieter fifth round, scoring 50.49 points to bring their total to 261.39 points.
With the gold within reach, Elvis and Jared saved one of their best efforts for last, earning 69.12 points in the final round to finish on 330.51 points.
Their final dive proved decisive, sealing a dominant performance and another diving gold for Sarawak at SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026.
