LIMBANG: The Sarawak United National Youth Organisation (SABERKAS) continues to serve as a valuable platform for youth to engage in community and social activities.
In stating this, Batu Danau assemblyman Datuk Paulus Palu Gumbang said that participating in activities organised by the organisation is vital for youth empowerment in leadership and governance.
“SABERKAS is dedicated to our youth, working to strengthen unity and harmony within the community as part of the SABERKAS family value,” he said.
He said this during the SABERKAS Batu Danau Branch Family Day here recently.
He mentioned that the family day is among SABERKAS’s yearly events, alongside sports carnivals and international remote-controlled boat competitions.
He hoped the programme would further build solidarity among members and the community.
Meanwhile, the event featured various activities, including sports, performances, and karaoke competitions, and saw the distribution of 97 new SABERKAS membership cards.
