MIRI: Schools should engage active learning techniques in order to encourage students to be more innovative and creative in their lives.

Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni stated this during the incentive presentation ceremony of Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Taman Tunku yesterday morning.

“For teachers to be innovative and creative, schools must create a conducive learning environment,”he added.

Lukanisman also encouraged students to participate in eSports or electronic sports which were growing globally.

Yesterday, 72 students of SMK) Taman Tunku received their incentives for various achievements in the school.

Lukanisman presented the incentives. He also officiated at the launch of the school gymnasium.

He later announced an allocation of RM10,000 to the school.
