KUCHING: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a weather warning for Sarawak, forecasting adverse conditions over the coming days.
According to the forecast, which covers the period from Jan 28 to Feb 3, Sarawak is expected to experience isolated thunderstorms in inland areas during the morning and afternoon, while isolated rain is anticipated at night.
Temperatures during this period are expected to range from a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius to a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius.
An orange warning has been issued for Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song), Bintulu (Tatau and Bintulu), and Miri (Subis and Miri), indicating continuous rain in these areas.
Meanwhile, a yellow warning has been issued for Kapit (Kapit), Bintulu (Sebauh), and Miri (Beluru and Marudi), signifying expected continuous rain but with slightly less severity compared to orange warning zones.
