“It is a trust and responsibility that I will take on as best I can. I pledge not to waste this trust and will serve as well as possible, if elected once again to become the Petra Jaya Member of Parliament in the election,” he said in a press statement.
Fadillah also thanked the Petra Jaya constituents for their support and hoped they would also support him on Polling Day so that together they could further develop Petra Jaya parliamentary constituency for five more years.
“My commitment to the Petra Jaya constituents is to continue the sustainability of physical development, provide more affordable homes, create more business and employment opportunities and further enhance human capital development, education development and skills training as well as character development.
“To my fellow party members in PBB who did not defend their respective seats, I would like to extend my appreciation and thanks. Indeed, the spirit of solidarity and the principle of putting the party’s priorities first highlight the strengths of the Sarawak BN.
“My appreciation and thanks to Tan Sri Dr. Leo Michael Toyad (former Mukah Member of Parliament (MP), Datuk Wahab Dolah (former Igan MP), Datuk Dr James Dawos Mamit (former Mambong MP), Datuk Ahmad Lai Bujang (former Sibuti MP) and Datuk Norah Tun Rahman (former Tanjong Manis MP). They are the best examples of leaders who have contributed much to the party, state and country, but opted to step down in order to give way to new faces to continue their causes and services,” added Fadillah.
