KUALA LUMPUR: Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil offered his condolences to the family of singer Badrul Izhan Yeop Abdullah or Bad of Indigo, who died at his workplace in Ampang, Selangor, at 7 pm last night.
According to local media reports, the 48-year-old died of a heart attack.
Fahmi in his Facebook post also prayed that the family would remain strong during these testing times.
“My deepest and heartfelt condolences to Bad Indigo’s family. Al-Fatihah,” he said.
The Bad of Indigo which was formed in 1996, gained popularity by performing Malay pop songs.
The group also included Mohamed Shahrin Mohamed Samsudin, Shahrul Nizam Abdul Aziz and Nor Shazman Nor Shahid. – BERNAMA
