MUKAH: Worried family members have turned to the police after a 44-year-old man failed to return after leaving home last Friday (Nov 5).
Search efforts are continuing for widower Hanifah Ahmad who was last seen leaving his house at Kampung Tellian Laut here.
A missing persons report was lodged by a relative, one Musa Ahmad, on Monday (Nov 8), said district police chief DSP Muhamad Rizal Alias.
According to the police report, Hanifah who is unemployed took off at about 6am without the knowledge of Musa.
Hanifah had in the past disappeared from the house often for two to three days but always returned home.
Relatives alerted the police after failing to trace his whereabouts.
