KUALA LUMPUR: Farm Fresh Bhd shares rose in early trade on Monday after the group posted stronger earnings for the financial year ended March 31, 2026 (FY2026), driven by higher revenue and improved profitability.

At 10.13 am, the stock was up one sen at RM2.15, with 666,400 shares traded.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Farm Fresh said net profit for FY2026 rose to RM129.61 million from RM106.40 million a year earlier, while revenue climbed to RM1.12 billion from RM981.18 million.

The group crossed the RM1 billion revenue mark for the first time since its 2022 listing.

The dairy producer attributed the improvement to higher sales in Malaysia, supported by stronger contributions from mini-markets, e-commerce and school milk programmes.

In a research note, RHB Investment Bank Bhd said Farm Fresh’s ice cream sales are expected to gain sequential momentum, supported by weather conditions and new product launches.

It added that the commissioning of the Bandar Enstek ice cream plant in mid-2026, alongside the acquisition of Amelia Ice Cream to support expansion into East Malaysia, should further strengthen the segment.

RHB IB maintained a “buy” call on Farm Fresh, with a target price of RM2.69 a share. – BERNAMA
