SRI AMAN: Coffee cultivation can increase the income of the farmers in the future, said Bukit Begunan assemblyman Datuk Mong Dagang.
Mong said that coffee cultivation currently has a very high demand.
In this regard, he encouraged farmers to seize the opportunity to apply for allocations from the Department of Agriculture to venture into this commodity.
He made these remarks during a leader-meet-people programme held here recently.
Meanwhile, Mong also approved an allocation of RM50,000 under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) to 13 residents of Rumah Jemat.
Additionally, RM6,000 was allocated under the Minor Rural Project (MRP) to the Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) of Rumah Jemat and RM4,000 to the Women’s Bureau.
