FASTEV app integrates multiple EV chargers

KUCHING: Karuna Sarawak has unveiled FASTEV, a unique EV charger aggregator mobile app developed as part of the SDEC-Karuna JV initiative.

According to Karuna Sarawak chief executive officer Melvin Ong, FASTEV will simplify city-wide EV charging by integrating multiple charger brands into a single platform, offering real-time information and user-friendly accessibility.

“FASTEV will simplify city-wide EV charging by integrating various charger brands into a single, user-friendly platform.

“The app will also support mobile EV charger leases, contributing to Sarawak’s sustainable urban mobility goals,” he said during the Business Innovation & Technology Conference 2025 (BIT25) officiating ceremony at Raia Hotel and Convention Centre here yesterday (Feb 21).

Following this, he noted that their commitment to these innovations aligns with their mission to assist clients in business model innovation and digital transformation while creating a smarter, greener, and more connected world.

Moreover, he added that these innovations contribute to Sarawak’s broader digital goals by supporting the state’s smart city initiatives, enhancing urban efficiency, and improving community wellbeing.

“From improved waste management to streamlined transportation, our solutions demonstrate how technology can positively impact daily life.
