KUCHING: Minister of Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, F a m i l y , a n d C h i l d h o o d Development Dato Sri Fatimah Abdullah expressed her appreciat ion towards Budget 2018 tabled by Prime Minister Datuk Ser i Najib Tun Razak yesterday.
“The news on Mukah Airport is what we have been waiting for a very long time,” said Fatimah, who is also Assemblywoman for Dalat. On matters related to welfare and community well-being, Fatimah said the RM50 million to tackle social problems is good news.
“It will enable us to create awareness programmes for preventive and rehabilitation purposes. “We also welcome the increase in allowance for beneficiaries because this is what they’ve been requesting,” she said via text message.
