SIBU: Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian visited several Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) and association leaders in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration here on Wednesday.
Among those visited by Dr Sim and his wife, Datin Amar Enn Ong, were SUPP Dudong chairman and Sibu Rural District Council (SRDC) deputy chairman Councillor Wong Ching Yong, SUPP Dudong branch advisor Datuk Dr Soon Choon Teck, and SUPP Nangka branch chairman Benson Chua.
Also visited were the residences of SUPP Bawang Assan branch chairman Councillor Kevin Lau, Chiang Chuan Association president Lim Hong Hui, and SUPP Pelawan branch chairman Clarence Ting Ing Horh, who is also the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) chairman.
Joining the entourage were Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing, and Local Government Datuk Michael Tiang Ming Tee and Bukit Assek assemblyman Joseph Chieng Jin Ek.
