KUCHING: With less than a month to go, final preparations for the highly anticipated Hydrogen Economy Forum (H2EF) 2025 are in full swing.
The Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainability Datuk Dr Hazland Abang Hipni said preparations for the event are in their final stretch, with all aspects of the planning coming together seamlessly.
“H2EF 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark event that will showcase Sarawak’s strategic vision and progress in the hydrogen economy.
“I thank all stakeholders for their unwavering commitment and look forward to a successful forum that will drive meaningful conversations and collaborations for a greener future,” he said in a press release issued by Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak) today (April 27).
Dr Hazland, who is also the H2EF 2025 organising chairman, chaired the key coordination meeting at the BESarawak Boardroom on Apr 25 to fine-tune arrangements ahead of the event.
He added that the meeting focused on ensuring that all elements of the event, from programme content and speaker engagement to logistics and inter-agency coordination, are on track to deliver a world-class forum.
“H2EF 2025 is expected to serve as a strategic platform to accelerate discourse, partnerships, and policy direction for the hydrogen economy in Sarawak and beyond,” he added.
BESarawak chief executive officer (CEO) Amelia Roziman said that BESarawak is proud to play a pivotal role in facilitating the H2EF forum, which underscores Sarawak’s leadership in the global hydrogen economy.
“By fostering collaboration, innovation, and impactful discussions, H2EF 2025 represents our shared commitment to driving sustainable energy solutions for a better future in Sarawak and beyond.
“Together, we are turning vision into action and empowering the world through the power of business events and legacy impact,” she said.
For the record, a total of 30 officers from the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Sarawak (MEESty) as the leading ministry, Borneo Business Connect as the organiser, Business Events Sarawak (BESarawak), as well as other relevant ministries and government agencies, were present to review and finalise the planning for the highly anticipated forum, which will be held from 13–14 May 2025 at Hilton Kuching.
