KUCHING: Firdaus Press Publication has donated 300 books to be distributed to all rural primary schools in Sarawak.
According to a spokesperson from the Sarawak Education Department, the books consist of 12 titles published through the Ministry of National Unity (KPN) 2024 book programme, comprising picture books, illustrated works and children’s novels.
The handover ceremony saw Pertubuhan Penulis Isu-isu Wanita (PenaWan) chairperson Mahayati Ibrahim presenting the books to District Education Department (PPD) Sarawak Association, represented by Abang Adam Abang Dell, and witnessed by Sarawak Education director Datuk Dr Azhar Ahmad.
