BAU: A bedroom in a terrace house at Jalan Taition, Taman Gold Hill here, was destroyed in a fire this morning.
A spokesman from the Fire Department operations centre said no injuries or casualties were reported in the 8.57am incident.
Firemen from Bau station led by its chief Tawang Lingem, were deployed to the scene after receiving a distress call.
The firemen managed to prevent the fire from spreading to other parts of the house. The room was, however completely destroyed in the blaze.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred are still under investigation.
