SIBU: A fire damaged a store for old files at the Sibu District Police headquarters here yesterday, according Sibu Police chief ACP Saiful Bahari Abdullah.
He said officers and staff coming in to work at about 7 am became aware of the fire, which is believed to have been caused by a short circuit.
The Fire and Rescue Department was summoned at 7.20 am, said a spokesman of the department operations centre.
