BAU: A house at Kampung Pengkalan Tebang Tringgus was completely destroyed by fire yesterday.
According to the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre, it received an emergency call around 10.05am.
Following the call, firefighters from Bau Bomba were dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the fire had completely destroyed the single-storey house.
The fire is believed to have started from a stove – the owner was boiling water at the time and had left it unattended.
Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire around 11.40am.
No injury or casualty was reported during the incident.
