SONG: Fire razed two storehouses behind Kiding longhouse at Nanga Sebuloh last Saturday (Aug 28).
It is said that the premises were used to keep electrical generators for power supply to the longhouse.
A spokesperson from the State Fire and Rescue Department operations centre said firemen from Song station were despatched to the scene after a distress call was received around 12am.
Upon arrival, the storehouses, which were located about five metres behind the longhouse, were destroyed.
No casualties were reported and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
