MIRI: A late-night fire destroyed an unoccupied house at Jalan Lusut Kampung Bidayuh on Wednesday (Aug 19).
Miri Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief Law Poh Kiong said a distress call was received at 11.47pm.
Following the call, a team of firemen from the Miri central fire and rescue station was deployed to the scene.
The firefighters could not do much as the fire was at its height.
The team proceeded to put out the fire which was brought under control around 12.30am.
