KUCHING: A prompt response from the Fire and Rescue Department resulted in the successful rescue of a male driver who was trapped inside his vehicle following a collision with a lorry on Diplomatic Road here today.
According to reports, authorities received a distress call at 2.49 pm, prompting a rapid deployment of a team from the Petra Jaya fire station to the accident site.
Upon arrival, the rescue team discovered that the driver of the four-wheel drive was trapped inside the vehicle. They swiftly utilised specialised equipment to safely extricate the trapped individual.
Following the successful rescue operation, the victim was immediately transported to Normah Hospital for further medical treatment.
