MIRI: Firefighters in Lutong sprang into action on Sunday morning after receiving an emergency call about a kitten trapped inside the bonnet of a car at a residential property along Jalan Kampung Sealine.
The call came through to the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) at 11:02 am.
A team from the Lutong fire station was immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed the presence of a kitten stuck within the engine compartment of the vehicle.
After assessing the situation, the team conducted a swift and careful rescue operation using specialised equipment to free the frightened animal.
Thanks to their prompt response and skilful handling, the kitten was successfully extracted from the car without injury and released to a safe area nearby.
No further incidents were reported, and the operation concluded without complications.
