KUCHING: The atmosphere at the Meditel Ramadan Bazaar on Thursday (March 14) was lively, with various races flooding Ceria Street Mall at Sarawak General Hospital (SGH).
The bazaar runs from March 11 to April 9, and was launched by SGH deputy director Wan Samsulri Wan Hasbi.
The hot weather did not prevent people from buying the various delicacies on offer.

New Sarawak Tribune interviewed stall owners participating in the Ramadan Bazar, gaining insights into their experiences, offerings, and the vibrant atmosphere of the event.
“This is my first time participating in this Ramadan bazaar. My best selling food items at my stall are various Sushi,” said Azizah Raju, 26, who is a housewife.
She added that she wants to return for this Ramadan bazaar in the future.

For El-Zety Qarrinee, 18, a student, this is her first time participating. She said her best selling food items at her stall are western food such as spaghetti, meatballs, chicken chop and many more.
“I would love to join this Ramadan bazaar again in the future because I love to see people buying their favourite food and drinks.”
Ahmad Qushay, 24, who works in the Serapi restaurant along Meditel also said that this is his first time joining the bazaar.

His best selling food items at his stall are several fruits, including watermelon, dragon fruit and many more.
Indeed, this Ramadan Bazaar has received a positive response from the public and hopefully, it will continue to generate income for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
