MIRI: A family of five was injured when a car they were travelling collided with another car at Jalan Simpang Marudi here on Sunday afternoon.
In the 5pm incident, five members of the family were said to be heading to Marudi from Permyjaya here.
According to a source, upon arrival at the location, the car the five were in collided head-on with another car.
“The collision caused the car the five were in to spin before it crashed by the roadside,” the source said.
The five injured family members were later taken to Miri Hospital for treatment.
The driver and passengers of the other car escaped unhurt.
A police team was also at the location to investigate and identify the cause of the accident.
