“The Demo Day serves as a platform to present ideas, and highlight the resilience, creativity, and the limitless potential of Sarawak’s startup ecosystem,” he said in his speech during the TPAB Demo Day held at TEGAS Digital Village here today.

Through platforms such as the TEGAS Digital Village and TEGAS Digital Innovation Hubs in Bintulu and Miri, Len said it has created a thriving launchpad for early stage startups and innovators by providing co-working spaces, accelerator programmes, mentorship, access to funding and a rich network of collaborators.

“To our finalists: being here today speaks volumes about your determination and innovative spirit. No matter the outcome, you have already made a remarkable leap by proving your ideas and having the courage to dream big.

“Let this moment mark the start of an exciting journey ahead, one where you continue to learn, adapt, and work towards creating lasting impact,” he said.

Len also called upon all stakeholders, investors, corporations and public sector leaders to keep championing and strengthening this ecosystem.

“Together, we can plant the seeds of success, where innovation flourishes, talent is nurtured, and dreams become reality,” he added.

On the progress of Phase 2 of the TEGAS Digital Village, he said the project will commence soon with expected completion within three years.

“This facility will cater not only to local entrepreneurs but also to digital nomads from around the world, creating an environment where diverse talents can live, work and collaborate under one roof.

“By fostering daily interactions, knowledge exchange, and cross-cultural networking, the co-living space will serve as a melting pot for fresh ideas, partnerships, and innovation, ultimately strengthening our ecosystem and driving greater impact for Sarawak’s digital economy,” he said.
