BARAM: Heavy rainfall over two days has resulted in flooding in three areas in Beluru here.
According to the Malaysian Civil Defence Force (MCDF), the water level has risen to three and a half feet due to the continuous downpour on July 5 and July 6.
As a result, surrounding low-lying areas have also been affected by the overflow of water.
The affected areas include Rumah Janggu Langgit, Rumah Sultan Annai, and SK Sungai Seputi.
However, the situation is currently under control, MCDF said.
Civil defenders have been stationed in the area and are closely monitoring the situation. Their presence ensures a prompt response if needed.
