KUCHING: The Chinese Consulate Office here at Rock Road called the police after a staff member spotted an unknown man hanging a plastic bag at the main gate of the building around 3.30 pm on Monday.
The plastic bag was finally taken down by the police this morning at about 10am.
After a check, it was found to contain nothing but a packet of rice flour.
A police dog unit was also at the scene.
Police are investigating as to why the bag containing rice flour was left there.
