KUCHING: A foreign woman died after she allegedly fell from an apartment building along Jalan Daya, Kampung Bintawa last night (May 17).
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from Tabuan Jaya station were dispatched to the scene after being alerted of the incident at 8.21pm.
Upon arrival, they found the victim had fallen from the 12th floor to the first floor of the building. The victim is reportedly a Vietnamese in her mid-20s.
Firefighters assisted in removing the body and handed it over to the paramedics and police for preliminary inspections.
The body was later taken to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for a post-mortem.
Investigations are underway to identify the cause of the fall.
