The BN-PBB c andida t e for P.198 Puncak Borneo, Genot@Jeannoth Sinel is in a three-corner fight with PKR’s Willie Mongin and STAR’s Buln Ribos in this general election. Initially, it was thought to be a four-corner fight but the candidate for Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak Baru (PBDSB), Bego Sepop withdrew his candidacy on nomination day.
Jeannoth, 53, is a graduate of Universti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Before his recent retirement to stand as a candidate for Puncak Borneo, he was a staff surveyor with the Sarawak Land and Survey Department. His home village is at Kampung Sekuduk which is located near the 24th Mile, Kuching Serian Road.
Kampung Sekuduk is mostly flat land and many villages there are engaged in double-cropping of wet padi.
