KUALA LUMPUR: Former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission chief commissioner Tan Sri Dzulkifli Ahmad has been appointed as the Chairman of The World Brands Foundation (TWBF), the awarding body of The BrandLaureate.

The BrandLaureate, in a statement, said that Dzulkifli, who is currently serving as President of the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Corruption Academy, brings decades of experience in institutional reform and public sector governance to the role.

It said the appointment reflects the foundation’s commitment to ethical leadership and purposeful branding, as Dzulkifli’s values of integrity and accountability align with The BrandLaureate’s mission to honour authentic and impactful brands.

“Tan Sri’s appointment reinforces our belief that great brands are not only measured by performance, but also by principles.

“It reflects TWBF’s unwavering commitment to purposeful branding, where ethical leadership shapes reputation, trust and long-term value,” said The BrandLaureate Vice President of Public Relations and Communications Hilary Ng.

Meanwhile, Dzulkifli expressed his commitment to elevating The BrandLaureate’s global presence and expanding its influence within the international branding ecosystem.

“I am honoured to join an organisation that sees branding not merely as a commercial tool, but as a powerful reflection of values, culture and societal commitment. I look forward to contributing to TWBF’s mission of building brands that earn trust, inspire progress, and lead with purpose,” he said.– BERNAMA
