SIMANGGANG: Deputy Minister of Education, Innovation and Talent Development Datuk Francis Harden Hollis has continued his festive visits to the local Chinese community on the third day of the Chinese New Year to maintain close relationships with residents to foster greater cultural harmony among the diverse community.

During the Chinese New Year visit, the Simanggang assemblyman was accompanied by Penghulu Kang Tai Kong, the Simanggang rural areas’ Chinese community leader, to the houses of Dieh Teck Raw and Tang Cheng Shaw upon invitation.

Harden, a long-time people’s representative, has always kept close contact with the residents to help them through thick and thin.

His visit reflects his continued interest in strengthening relationships and fostering unity within the diverse community here, hoping that a bright future will bring prosperity and a better quality of life for the people, supported by continuing development and sharing of wealth in Sarawak.

The festive celebrations mark an appropriate time when families come together, receive guests, and spread goodwill and harmony in society.
