PADAWAN: Police arrested four local men suspected of drug abuse during an operation in the Siburan area, here yesterday (Mar 15).
Padawan police chief Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi said the suspects, aged between 25 and 32, were detained by a team from the Narcotics Criminal Investigation Division of the district police headquarters (IPD).
“During the raid, two suspects aged 25 and 32 were arrested together with suspected syabu crystals and Eramin 5 pills.
“Both also tested positive for drugs during an initial urine screening,” he said in a statement.
Suspects are being investigated under Section 12(3) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and Section 15(1)(a) of the same Act.
Meanwhile, two other suspects aged 31 and 32 are being investigated under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 after testing positive for drugs during the screening.
