SERIAN: Nine people, including a young boy, were injured following a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Serian-Tebedu on Sunday (Feb 23).

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the accident, involving a Nissan Urvan and a Perodua Myvi, happened at around 2.20 pm near Kampung Pichin.
Four victims sustained severe injuries, while the remaining five, including the boy, escaped with light injuries.
Firefighters from Serian station were dispatched to the scene, about 11km away, following a distress call.
Upon arrival, they found that all victims had already been rescued by members of the public.
It was reported that the Urvan was carrying four women, a man and a boy, while the Myvi had three persons on board, including a woman.
The four seriously injured victims were transported to the hospital via the emergency medical rescue service (EMRS) ambulance, while the rest were taken in public vehicles.
The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team ended the operation 2.50pm.
